What is Kabaz?
Kabaz is a mobile app that is all about giving. It enables users to send gifts of credit (i.e. digital eGift cards) for their friends and family to shop or enjoy services at businesses listed on the app. The word Kabaz originates from Portuguese meaning gift hamper.
How does it work?
For Individuals
Individuals can create an account on the Kabaz app, and once logged in, they select a business/store, select an amount to send (ranging from $10 to $200) and enter details of the recipient. Once the gift credit has been purchased, both the recipient and the business selected get an instant notification with details of the gift credit (e.g. sender, recipient, amount and business etc.).
For businesses
Businesses listed on the Kabaz App get instant notifications of gift credit sent and can expect to see the funds in their business accounts in 5-7 working days. The notification sent to businesses also contains details on how to validate and redeem a gift credit when contacted by the recipient.
